Everything you need to know about our color picker.
1How do I pick a color from an image?
Upload an image by dragging it into the picker, pasting from your clipboard, or entering an image URL. Once the image loads, simply click anywhere on it to select a pixel. The magnifier helps you zoom in for precise selection, and the selected color's HEX, RGB, HSL, and HSV values appear instantly with copy buttons.
2How do I get a HEX code from an image?
After uploading your image, click on the area you want to sample. The HEX code (like #FF5733) appears immediately in the color panel on the right. Click the copy icon next to it to copy the HEX value to your clipboard, ready to paste into your CSS, design tool, or code editor.
3How do I find the RGB color of an image?
Click any pixel on your uploaded image and the RGB values (Red, Green, Blue) are shown right below the HEX code. Each channel ranges from 0 to 255, giving you the exact numeric representation of the color. Use the copy button to grab the value instantly.
4Can I extract a color palette from an image?
Yes. When you upload an image, ImageColorPix automatically extracts the 8 most dominant colors and displays them as a palette below the image. Each swatch shows its hex code underneath, click any swatch to copy the color directly. It's a quick way to understand the full color story of a photo.
